I'm experiencing a problem, where IE keeps automatically adding a
"www" and a ".com" to addresses that I type. This quirk is preventing
me from accessing any of my company's intranet sites.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem please?

I'm using a Mac G5 OS 10.2.8, Intranet Explorer 5.2.3... and I have
disabled "Use address AutoComplete" in the preferences.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't noticed that problem in IE but I used to find it particularly
annoying when Word or Entourage did exactly the same thing. If you "undo"
immediately after IE makes that (*ahem*) correction I'm guessing you'll then
be able to continue normally.
