For the past 2.5 days I've tried to load a site that I've gone to
nearly every day for months  I get the grey error message:
"The attempt to load 'Accessing
URL:http://www.nameofsite.com/'failed."

I am using Internet Explorer 5 Macintosh Edition run through AOL 5.0
(old g3 computer with syst 9.2 so this is as good as it gets)

I have tried clearing the cache, after the first time I did this the
log on page appeared but would not let me continue further.

Any clues/tips why it should suddenly not work & how do I fix it?
thanks

Hi,

Try deleting Internet Preferences.

Yyou can find these files under following Location. <Hard disk>/System
Folder/Preferences.

Also try clearing cookies.

If you are having Internet Explorer 5.0 try updating it to IE 5.1.7.

Best Regards,

Prasanna
