I have been waiting for so long for a decent version of
IE for the Mac - what the heck? Still 5.2.3, eh?
I heavily use Exchange 2000 & 2003. I live and breathe
networking PCs, and often just use a PC for Web Access,
but those times when I have to use my PowerBook, the lack
of the SEARCH feature (you'd THINK, a major feature) is
frustratingly absent from the webaccess toolbar (or maybe
it's just different and I can't find it?).
Same deal when I use Firefox, Safari, or whatever -
WHY??? This doesn't seem like any different type of
window, more complex or what have you that a compose new
message type window?
So: How can I search via IE for the Mac via WebAccess?
And - maybe - can I fake Exchange out and send it a
string that I am really OS=IBM_PC or something so I can
get a new front end (that would be kind of a cook trick,
eh? :-)).
Also - we are upgrading to Exchange 2003 this weekend and
am wondering if I'll be able to take advantage of ANY of
the benefits here - esp. RPC over HTTP, and the improved
user interface.
If anyone can let me know, and if off-topic here - send
me a private email, that would be great.
Thanks,
Mike
