Is it possible to move my "favorite places" to a new computer without
manually re-entering all of them?  If yes, how do I do this?  Thanks
for your help.

Hi Lauren,

If you are using Mac OS 9.x then you can find the IE favourites under
following location.

Harddisk / System folder / Preferences / Explorer

You can try copying complete Explorer folder to the new machine and place it
under preferences folder.

If you are using Mac OS X then you can find the IE favourites under
following location.

Harddisk/Users/Home folder ( folder with Home Icon) / Library / Preferences
/ Explorer

Even here you can copy the complete Explorer folder and place it in the same
location on the new machine.

Note: Explorer folder will contain your favourites and as well as History.

Hope this resolves your issue.
