Powerbook G3 2000 (Firewire/Pismo) 512MB RAM
OS X 10.3.5 / Explorer 5.2.3
OS 9.2.2 / Explorer 5.1.7

Problem: After a few minutes browsing Explorer becomes unable to access
the web. Access is only restored by restarting the computer.

Occurs in both OS 9 and X.

The problem does not occur with other browsers: Netscape in OS 9 and
Safari in X continue working after Explorer stops. Other internet
applications all working normally. SIte IPs can be pinged etc.

Problem is not associated with any particular web site. Explorer simply
gives up!

Problem has survived OS reinstall.

Problem solved by hard reset of ADSL wireless modem/router.

Another Powerbook on the wireless network running IE 5.16 has worked
flawlessly throughout.
