This isn't a huge problem, but I was just wondering if I was doing something
wrong. I'm using IE 5.1.7 on a Mac with system 9.2.2. The "new features"
listed the ability to search from the address bar, using "go" or "?" then a
space before the word or phrase you want to find. I can't get it to work. I
get an error (or an ad for a new domain) every time. I work in a grade
school and thought this could be a useful feature, if it really worked.
Thanks for any info.

It doesn't work for me either. I get the error 'The attempt to load
'Accessing URL: http://home.microsoft.com/access/autosearch.asp?p=<search
criteria>' failed, which suggests it's trying to do something but the
search engine's not responding.

You might like to try Opera which has a text field in the menu for
directly searching Google.
