How do I get rid of these picture links at the top of my screen?

I accidentally dragged some pictures to the top of my screen (next to
the autofill print and mail icons) and now I can't delete them.  There
must be a simple way but I can't figure it out. Somebody please help
me out with this. Thanks -Lee

hold down the mousebutton over the picture and in the menu go to delete

Control-click the image and then select "Delete" from the contextual menu.
Repeat for each extra picture.
