I just installed comcast high speed internet.  My date and time in the
control panels were wrong during installation.  I corrected and
restarted.  I still receive the "unable to establish a secure
connection" warning for every web site using both IE 5.1.7 and
Netscape (I have Mac OS 9.2.2).  Comcast couldn't help, it doesn't
support Macs, apparently.  This makes me want to buy a PC!

My date and time are correct!  I have the latest software updates (I
think!).  What else could be wrong?

use a timeserver in date and time settings and you will never have a
clock that goes wrong  + change to a more modern browser like Mozilla
