I just bought a G3 450 blue and white tower on eBay. It’s one that
came with 9 GB Ultra2 SCSI hard drive instead of a Ultra ATA hard
drive.
Will it have the other IDE bus waiting for two IDE hard drives to be
able to be hooked up? And if so did apple bother to include the cable?
And because it is got a SCSI device will one of the PCI slots be
filled with a SCSI board? And if so will that Board have an external
outlet to be able to hook up an external SCSI chain? Will the card
have two SCSI buses on it?
Oh and are the internal zip and CD-Rom drive IDE and not SCSI?
I know I have a lot of questions that will all be answered when I get
it but I’d like to know in advance what I can expect.

I just gave a "B&W" Power Mac to a friend; though it has the Ultra2
SCSI in it, it comes with the ability to plug in an ATA hard drive,
too, as long as you have the correct cable. (In fact, I pulled the SCSI
drive before giving it to my friend, and put in an ATA drive.) I
believe the 9 GB Ultra2 SCSI drive was a more pricey configuration on
this model -- in other words, optional. More specs are available on
EveryMac.com, which has extensive details on all Apple products.

Oh, and I forgot to add: Yes, this Mac will have the Ultra2 SCSI
adapter plugged in to an available PCI slot. (That is, if it is indeed
running a SCSI drive.) The internal zip and CD-ROM drives will be IDE.
