Apple Keyboards

I have started accumulating Apple wired (like the number pad) keyboards.

I have tow now, with a third coming tomorrow all because I like the
number numeric pad section so much.

However, being a coffee drinker, I have spilled some on the keyboard.
Quickly cleaning leaves a normal keyboard functionality, just no
keypad.

Which brings me to my point.  I  prefer Apple. I can't find any where
to send these other 2 boards to be "cleaned" for a reduced priced (less
that new)

Any Idea?

Remove all the keys. Then place your keyboard and your keys in your (empty)
dishwasher, add a little bit of cleaner and have it run the normal program.
Afterwards put everything into the sun or into a dry room and wait several
days. Alternatively if you have connections to a laboratory, you may just
dry it with a vacuum within an hour or so.

One option offered on the net here and there in the past was the use
of distilled water.  Specifically "distilled" as opposed to
out-of-the-tap or bottled spring water as distilled should have less
impurities.

Rinsing the effected area in the distilled will help wash out
impurities while leaving less behind.

Drying will take several days as noted in the other response.

The overall suggestion is that its dead anyway, so anything tried
won't hurt.

Wash it under a warm running tap.  Then leave it to dry out somewhere
safe, and finish it off by putting it in the clothes drying wardrobe for
three or four days.  I've done this twice with mine, works every time.

He spoke with a certain what-is-it in his voice, and I
could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far
from being gruntled.
