Thank you. Due to all the off topic crap on rec.food.cooking I am
sensitive to the propriety of posting to the correct group and do my
best to not offend.

I believe I left it on a NWA plane. Phooey. I've called and haven't
heard anything. Highly unlikely that I will hear. It would be a
murrcle if I did. I picked up my new iPod Touch yesterday. :-0)

I don't think so.

I do my large-money purchases of Apple stuff at FirstTech here in
Minneapolis, for years the premier Mac dealer in town. The Apple store
at the Mall of America put a big hurt on their business, I think. I do
other stuff through the MoA store, but like the folks at FirstTech a
lot. I've only ever had excellent customer service there -- for the
last 16 years, dealing with the same sales guy. Now he's doing
something else for them and has handed me off to a youngster. Gotta
break him in; he received his first jar of jam and batch of brownies
from me today when I returned the xtrememac case I bought yesterday for
my Touch. (Man, was THAT a frustrating experience, trying to get the
iPod into the case. Holy crap!) He fixed me up and I left happy.

What I left behind was a 30GB video iPod bought two years ago. i
laughed when I saw the 80GB and 160GB units. JAYzuzz! My iBook G4 has
a 60GB hard drive.

True, and it's sweet, but I have to maintain my reputation with my son
for being a cool old lady. 8-0) He and I are the Mac loyalists en
Casa Schaller. He has a t-shirt that says, "I had an iPod before you
knew what one was." True, too. Too bad he didn't buy any Apple stock a
couple years ago.
I listen to my husband curse his Windows apps every day. I wish I knew
if it was Operator Error. On second thought, I think I'm glad I don't
get involved with his stuff.

Too late for me.

I don't. The Cool Factor grabbed me by the throat until I said Uncle.
> Please let us know what you do. Good luck!
I believe I have done that above.
Thanks for your kindness, Jim.
