PBG3 Airport card --> iMac G4

Does any one know if it is possible to take the (original) Airport Card
from my PB (Pismo) G3 and fit it into my iMac G4 ?

It is the same silver 11mbit airport card on Pismo and G4 iMac (flat
display)

It depends on which iMac G4 you have.  The early ones used the original
Airport card, while later ones used the Airport Extreme.  I believe all
1 GHz and faster models fall into the latter category.
