I've an Apple Mini coming and am considering
some thing other than a mouse; the only pointing
device I've ever used. I'll check out trackballs but
think some other options exist. Dan

I have a trackball from MaCally and I LOVE it.
It is about 3 years old.  and optical trackball, with the ball on the top,
and two buttons on each side.  Most of the ones available today have the
ball in the thumb spot.

Using our third Kensington TurboMouse.  But, those first two TM's are
still operational.  One had only two buttons and the other was ADB and
not USB.  Otherwise could still be using either one.  I say this to
indicate the robustness of the product not deficiencies.

Of course, our set up may be vastly different from yours.  Our keyboard
and mouse are in a drawr with a front edging slightly raised so the TM
fits perfectly both for height and side to side with the keyboard.
