Hello,

I have a macbook and I always wondered if it is the one that I bought that
has significanly low internal volume or it in general. I always have to
stick close to it to hear it fine.

Anyone else facing the same problem. I read somewhere online that Apple does
that intentionally since sound cards actually consume a lot of heat.

Any thoughts?

Produce, I think you mean.

For what it's worth, the volume on my MacBook is significantly higher
than it is on my G5 tower. It's also, though, *highly* directional. It's
meant to be used by someone sitting pretty much in front of the screen
with the keyboard at the level of a lap or typical desk. It will suffer
if you're off to the side or if the notebook is, say, chest-high
