Recycle integrated iSight

Hallo NG, 
 
I ask myself it is possible to use a iSight of a dead iMac. 
I wonder how it is connected or better how it is bus-
powered normally. It has a 4 Pin FireWire female connector in which 
you can plug a 4 to 6 pin FireWire cable. Unfortunately it can't work 
this way because it will not get power. Dose somebody know this thing 
can be switched and would it work with 
the buspower from any FireWire port.
