All of a sudden my audio-in has died.
Everything was working fine... then my mic stopped
working. I have two mics and neither of them now
work whether i plug them into the iMic USB device
or into the audio-in in the back of my Mac.
This happened a couple of weeks ago, but then
it miraculously cured itself after only a day...
i don't know why. It's been three days now...
no miracles yet.
What could be causing the problem?
Audio-out is ok.
I ran disk warrior, repaired permissions and
zapped the PRAM... no help.
Any suggestions?
I'm desperate, i need a mic for communication
thru Skype.
I have one PCI slot left... should I get a new
sound card... will that help?
my system: dual 1.25 MMD G4, 1.75 GBs RAM, 10.4.10

This must mean that since Apple dropped SCSI, the SCSI voodoo has
mutated to USB voodoo, time to get the rubber chickens and virgin goats
back out of storage ;-)
