I just want to say that my MBP now has a shinny new Toshiba 200 Gb HD
inside. It was a slightly traumatic upgrade but I'm happy with the results.
A few tips for anyone else considering doing this:
- Get the right tools (Small Philips, Torx T6, spudger)
- DigitalKind have the Toshiba 200 Gb drives at 76 quid + VAT and their
service is good
- Don't use CCC (or rsync -aE ) - it's flaky - spend 15 quid on
SuperDuper! (or just use the eval version if you're cheap)
- Print out the instructions before you start
- Don't be surprised if things have changed a little in the HD area if
you have a new-ish MBP
- Be _very_ patient and _very_ careful (don't force anything)
- Don't over-tighten the screws when you put the MBP back together or
your latch may not work.
Good luck !

I used a G5 Xserve to display mine - does that make me a "real man" ?
