Dunno.. don't have a free port at the moment.. The Logitech cordless
mouse (super-sweet.. nicest mouse I've ever had on ANY system) is
working just fine NOW - post-op - and it worked fine with the original
Apple keyboard.
The business part of the ports on the iKey are clearly recessed.
Literally.. the translucent casing makes that plainly visible. And
prior to surgery, the plug felt loose - like it wasn't plugged in all
the way.
When I get a hub, I'll bring it off the Mac rather than the keyboard..
should be no problems.
BTW.. I like the iKey keyboard very much. An iddy bit on the stiff side
as keyboards go. I tend to have fewer typos with stiffer keyboards..
fewer accidental strokes.

I use the iKey k'board and a Logitech cordless mouse. Unlike you I did
get an error message trying to use the mouse via the kb - "Not enough
power for this device". I use the mouse via a hub ever since, without
further problems. The kb works great by itself.

FWIW I use a Logitec cordless optical mouse with the receiver plugged
into a macally netkey keyboard. No problems, never have been.
