Can any one assist on how to pull the HD from a performa 6115. I've
got the case open, but am obviously missing out on how the HD is
removed.
TIA

I used to have one of those circa 1994 or so. I seem to recall the HD
was mounted on a plastic sled. I think it released the sled by pushing a
plastic tab (can't recall if in front or back of sled but seem to
remember it on the underside of the sled) but the sled would then slid
out (towards the front I think). Once removed it is an easy job to
access the HD and change it.
Hope this hazy memory of details helps.

What he said.
Sometimes the plastic tab can be a bit trickey.

From the service manual. With the top off the machine.
1 Disconnect the SCSI data and hard drive power cables from the
hard drive.
2. Remove the hard drive EMI shield (It's the thin sheet metal at
the front of the computer. IIRC it just snaps out)
3. Press down in the tab and slide out the hard drive.
As somebody already said, it doesn't always release and can be
downright fussy. The tab is beneath the drive at the front. The
drive slides toward the front (sled and all). Don't break the tab.
