I have one of the original 20-inch iMac G5's, with Bluetooth keyboard
and mouse. Lately, the keyboard has been adding an extra character,
the close-square-bracket ( ] ), to the right of the cursor whenever I
hit either shift key. So, if I type normally, using shift instead of
caps lock, text comes out like this:

Hello, my name is Paul!]]]

Is there a fix for this?]

Please respond via e-mail if possible. I'll post a summary of
responses and any fix I discover.

TIA
Paul T.

Never mind. The problem vanished after a shutdown and cold start of
the iMac.
