Hi everyone.  Does anyone know if ram is interchangeable between Beige
and B&W G3s?  I have a Beige G3/333 with 768(3x256)mg.  I tried to put one
of the dimms in a B&W 350 and it wouldn't work.  So I put it back in the
Beige and pulled out a different one, and the second one worked fine in
the B&W.  The dimms *are* a slightly different height.  Will some work in
both and others not?

Thanks,
MK

The two models have different bus speeds (66MHz versus 100MHz) and hence
different minimum requirements for RAM. PC100 DIMMs should work in a
beige, but PC66 DIMMs will not work in a B&W G3. The best compendium of
Mac hardware specs is Mactracker <http://www.mactracker.ca>.
