Problem Using Mighty Mouse

I recently purchased a Mighty Mouse as my Apple Bluetooth Mouse wouldn't work
with Boot Camp.

My problem is that when I place my right hand on the mouse with my thumb and
fourth finger at the sides so that they fall onto the side buttons my index
finger tends to land on the scroll button. I hate to think of the number of
times I've pushed that button instead of making a click. Methinks in the two
days I've had the Mighty Mouse I've seen at least two months worth of
dashboard displays.

Do others have the same problem?

Use the Mouse panel of System Preferences to re-map the buttons so they
don't trigger with gestures you commonly accidently make.

I've also found that with the Mighty Mouse you learn to place your
fingers so that doesn't happen. It's now 2nd nature for me to place my
index finger slightly to the left of the scroll wheel and to rest my
hand lightly on the mouse. For me, the biggest issue was learning to
place my hand and have a soft enough grip on the mouse that I don't
accidently trigger the side buttons.
