If I'm in the wrong place, please let me know where I should be asking.
Husband has a Nano (smaller one) and I'm considering one of those gizmos
that will broadcast his iPod tunes through his car radio.

Recommendations?  Caveats?  Tricks?
Thanks for your patience.

If he is going to use it very often I would suggest getting one that
either plugs into the cigarette lighter or at least has an adapter that
plugs into the cig lighter. Otherwise it is just another set of
batteries to buy every few days.

I bought one on ebay for 1 cent plus shipping (total $10) it it works
and sounds great but every so often only one channel works. The price
was decent but the quality was low. Mine might be a fluke,  I would not
pay more than $20 though as they are really very simple devices with
the current availability of the inexpensive IC's required to make them.

I highly recommend either a cassette adapter or direct plug-in (to Aux
port) in stead. The problems with FM transmitter solutions are many.
While some will argue they love theirs, I would show that if either of
the other two options will work for your situation, you will get much
better audio fidelity. And depending on where you live, the FM
transmitters are almost unusuable due to interference from FM stations.

Just my opinion.

I appreciate it.   Can you point me to a brand or be more specific?  He
doesn't have a tape deck in his Accord.  Does have the "cigarette
lighter" type sockets.   Thank you for your help.
