Hi. I don't know where else to ask this. I have heard a lot of
conflicting stories about the actual hard drive. Is it a 1.8" or a 2.5".
I'm wondering because I wanted to get a new hard drive for it. And, does
it necessarily need to be a Toshiba?

For the hard-drive based models, it's a 1.8". A 2.5" drive is the kind
use in notebook computers - it's actually quite a bit larger when you
put it side-by-side.
