I have laptop that i bought wireless adaptor card for. How do I use it say at wifi cafe or somewhere. Just allow it to connect and go from there or do I need some kind of access codes or such? Some require you to enter the correct code. > The software > seems to ask for some codes of some sort. That site seems to be secured. You're not getting in without the code. You _could_ hack the code, getting past WEP security isn't difficult and WPA isn't that much harder, but the site may have taken other precautions. And, besides, it's easier to either ask for access (if this is meant to be a publicly accessible site) or to find an unsecured site.  SignatureWe are Microsoft of Borg. You will be assimilated.
