I have bought a AirPort express Base Station and have hooked it up to
my Stereo (Phono, as I do not have a AUX port). I can see, and connect
to, the Base Station from my PC (which also has a LinkSys Wireless Card
installed in it).

But when I try to play music to my Stereo from my PC the volume is
coming very, very low. I have no clue where to begin.

Any ideas?

It might well be your use of the "Phono" input -- it might have way too
high an impedance to the signal coming from the PC.  Try using the tape
input as a comparison.

Not to mention the RIAA EQ that it's being filtered through. Phono inputs
generally only work properly with phonographs. Try plugging a turntable
into an Aux or Tape input, and you'll have a similar problem.

thanx a million!!!! That was it, I just switched the connection to Tape
1 / VCR and the sound is perfect.

But, the little light on the AirPort Express never becomes green. Isn't
it supposed to become Green when the connection is good? The PC is in
the next room and the distance between them are about 15'-20'.

The AE will not flash or be steady green unless it has an IP address or
is otherwise networked via TCP/IP.  Is it connected to your internal
network as well as the stereo?

Check the Apple Support knowledge base and your online docs.  This is in
there.

Odd, Phono input is typically a low level input where as the Express
should be a line level output.  That should produce excessively loud
output.  Your best bet is a line level input.  What other inputs does it
have?
