Question: iPod mini and USB

Hi,

does iPod mini work with USB versions less than 2.0, too? My father
wants to use it with an "older" computer having WindowsXP installed.

Thanks for your answer in advance. Sorry this is not a "Mac" - Topic in
fact, but i didnt find a better place to post this.

Yes, it will just be very slow to synch the first time.  Even on an
older computer, he can probably get a USB 2.0 PCI card or even a
firewire card pretty cheap.

Still, first time sync time (1-2 hours) is shorter than time to find a
card, buy it, install it in computer and then sync.
