I currently have a dual 2G G5 sharing an UltraSharp 2001FP with a Alienware
PC with a DVI switch box
I want to get the 30" Cinema display, and sell the 2001FP
Do you all know if I can keep the same sharing configuration?  (I am
assuming I need to upgrade my Alienware with  the GeForce 6800 Ultra)
Appreciate any knowledge, speculation, or pointers to resources.
THX and regards,
Will

Kinda sort of :-)

See Feb Maximum PC for details, to summarise:

Apple 30" display requires a video card with two DVI outputs
(something to do with bandwidth requirements)  Apple use a proprietary
GeForce 6800 based card with this display, there is currently no PC
equivalent.

Maximum PC managed to drive the display using a workstation style
graphics card that gave a poorer quality display and abysmal Gaming
performance.
