Highly subjective. The MacAlly iShock II is quite nice although somewhat
large. I also have a MacAlly iBallPro and a Griffin PowerMate as
potential game controllers.

Freeverse has a game out that's controlled via iSight.

Speaking of which (sorry to horn in on your thread)... Does anyone have
a driver to allow Macsense's Funpad and Funstick to work with OS X?  I
have two brand new devices here, and can't use them because I didn't
check to see if they were compatible.  :^(  Their website says that
third party drivers are available, but I can't find any.

Use USB Overdrive, it recognizes any pluged in USB Mice or GamePads.
Very easy to do the key setup, press a Button on the gamepad and the
gamepad key on the program will highlight then you will be able to
choose a key for it to react to.

The apps USBOD doesn't work properly with are typically messed up.
They're usually missing at least one of the pieces of information used
for uniquely identifying applications, the CFBundleSignature.  Every
game that OmniGroup ported is missing the unique identifier, yet their
regular apps are setup properly.

You can get around this by giving the apps a fake CFBundleSignature.
Inside packaged apps (right click on a 'broken' app and select Show
Package Contents) there's a PkgInfo and Info.plist file.  Open each up
in a text editor and replace the ???? with a 4 character string of your
choice.  Preferably something that's related to the app name and
hopefully unique.  Once it's set, you launch the app at least once and
then hopefully USBOD will recognize it as its own app.  Sometimes a
relogin or reboot helps.
