Suddenly tonight my G3/266 started acting up, getting Real slow, even slowing
down my LAN.
I Finaly rebooted, getting the blinking "?"
Booted from some CDs, like OS 9.1 install,- TechTool Pro, but none will find the
internal hdd. Even tried DiskFirst Aid, but nothing will 'see' any drive but the
cd that is running the Mac.
Also I do hear some type of access atempt about every second or so while the Mac
is running.
Anything else I could try to mount the drive and fix it? -or is it Obviously
Dead?
Thanks for any ideas.....DaveC.....

You can reseat the power and IDE cables, or possibly replace the IDE
cable.  You can try it in another Mac if you have one available.  But I
wouldn't be surprised if it's dead.
