I'm working on a Performa 6320de that I assumed had a bad power supply
because it wouldn't power up at all. After replacing the PS, the unit
booted fine a few times and then wouldn't power up (I could hear a
bleep in the speaker and see the lights on the keyboard flash and then
nothing). Now it comes on sometimes, most times not. I'm a PC guy and
I'm totally lost. Any help?

Might be the PRAM battery dying.

I suggest you replace the logic board battery.
Hope this will help:

Agreed, but you can measure it with a voltmeter first. A new battery
will read 4.5 volts, replace if less than 3.0 volts.
Also try resetting the CUDA chip (a small button about an inch from the
corner of the battery, toward the center of the logic board). This has
been know to fix many a power up problem.

Looks like you need a logic board battery. Check

BTW, when you buy batteries from Radio Shack, always cite the Radio Shack
catalog number, or the people there would deny they have those items.
That's what I learned when I replaced a Radio Shack battery 23-026 for my
Performa 6115CD.
Good luck.

I believe the Performa 6100 series uses the 3.6 volt lithium battery
(which RS carries), while the 6300 series uses the square (about 1 inch
cube) 4.5 volt battery. Those are hard to find locally, but are
available online.
