I am getting ready to select a DVD burner for my 350Mhtz Beige G3.  I
have the following requirements I hope to fill:

DVD + and - R and RW capable
internal or external
can be ide or firewire
compatible with iTunes to allow iTunes to burn music CDs
iDVD compatible

Is there a web site or other resource that can tell me what models of
DVD burners might fit my needs?

I think that iDVD requires a G4 (official requirements are a G4/733 MHz)
before it will run. However, an *internal* Pioneer DVR-106/A06 or
DVR-107/A07 will be the only drive that the Mac will recognize as a
'SuperDrive' and support both DVD+R and DVD-R. Other models definitely
won't work with iDVD.

The drive compatibility database at xlr8yourmac.com is a good resource.
