Why does calculation happend so slowly

This is for a board game I play. When you enter values, say in RNG or ROF, it takes 5-10 seconds for a value to actually appear.
Any ideas why so slow?

Hi,

Try it on 2004. I am having no appreciable delays on an PC. I have check
the formulas and there really aren't enought to bring your system to a halt.
There are a few dozen VLOOKUP's but again nothing significant. There are no
macros, of course there couldn't be if you are using 2008.

I think its a version issue. Something about 2008.

Are you testing on a mac also? So you don't see anything that would cause such a delay?
