I am trying to update some data in excel using scheduled tasks. I can get it
to open the excel file and to update the datas. But, how can I get it to
close the excel file afterwards?
Thanks in advance,
Manuel

Give us a hint at least. You ask "how can I get it to ..." what is it? How
are you doing this? What version of Excel, operating System? How are the
tasks scheduled?

I am using the XT operating system and the Excel version is 2003.
I am using the Scheduled Tasks program included int XT's system tools. I
just schedule a task with the excel file. At the scheduled time the excel
file is openned and the links within updated. Once finished the excel file
remains openned. What I would like to do is have the excel file close
automatically after the links are updated.
Thanks again,
manuel

I had a hunch that that was what you are doing. This forum is for Macintosh
Excel. You will get better results by posting in one of the Windows forums.
