How can we  do a whole list of words that shall be replaced with others
column 1 = original word column b= new word
any place in the even in the middle of a cell
ex:
is    the
apple    pear
orange    yellow
go    white

"is" shall be replaced we "the"

we think this shall be with a v_lookup to work out

Your best bet is to do multiple Edit-Replace. If you are using Excel 2004 or
earlier, this can be done with VBA, or even AppleScript for the earlier and
current version.

Well then your best bet is to write, (or have written) a macro that will do
multiple replaces based on the list. Since you are using Excel 2007, your
best bet will be to post to a Windows Excel forum. This one is for Macintosh
Excel.
