I am using windows XP and Office 2000/Excel. I am trying to save a
spreadsheet with “Read only”. However, when I click File, Properties and the
General tab, the Attributes for “Read only” are greyed out. How do I to
enable the greyed out area to let me select “Read only”?

Never mind, I was trying to change it from the open workbook which does not
work it only works with the workbook closed and then right clicking on the
file icon, then selecting properties.
