Printing underlined text

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I have a table where some of the text is underlined but when I print this table out the underlining does not print. New to a mac and not sure why this is happening. When I go to preview mode the text is not underlined either. Any thoughts

Check to make sure you have the latest print driver.
