I'm importing data by cutting and pasting from a database, but when I paste it fills down rather than across. I need my data to go across rows so that I can export it to a database program. Is there a way to "flip" the spreadsheet?

After you select the cell in Excel where you want the data to begin, DO NOT
use Paste. Instead, go to the Edit menu, select Paste special and select
transpose.
