Processor: intel
After installing Office update 12.1.1 yesterday, I encountered a weird display glitch today on both my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro computers. Upon opening the application and entering 1 into ANY cell, Excel displays .01 instead. Similarly, if I enter 1234 into ANY cell, Excel displays 12.34. I have not applied any formulas, functions or formats to these cells to divide the entered amount by 100. I checked my preference settings and could not find any clues or explanations. I rebuilt my permissions and restarted both computers, yet the problem persists. Both Intel Macs are running Mac OS X 10.5.4. Does anyone have an explanation for what is going on or what settings I should check?
Confused.

Hi rob -
Excel> Preferences> Edit, clear the check for "Display this number of
decimal places".
