I just converted from Office 2003 on the PC to Office 2008 on the MAC and found many "Missing Features. The way find works is most different. Find all seems to be gone - on the PC it was a part of the Find command - is it somewhere else or is it gone? Also, on the PC we were able to make a change to the sheet with Find still open, on the MAC we have to close find each time - is there any work around?

I'm afraid you're right on both counts:-( The Mac implementation of F&R is
not as robust as what the PC versions have to offer, and the dialog is modal
so you can only edit using the Replace feature. Other changes can't be made
while the dialog is open.

If you would like to have any of the PC features included in the Mac version
use Help> Send Feedback to argue your case as eloquently as are able. Submit
a *separate* instance for each different issue, however - don't just lump
everything together as one long rant:-) There are no guarantees, but MS does
track the requests made & those with the greatest number of "votes" do get
consideration. If feasible they may appear in the next release (don't expect
to see any implementations in updates to the current release).
