Hello:

I have name, address, and email addresses typed on an Excel Spreadsheet and
I want to transfer the info to my Entourage Address Book to create a group
to send an email to everyone on the list. There is a separate column for the
first name, last name, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code and email.
Please help in how to do this. Thank you.

Peggy Stap

I forgot to send you my info on operating system etc.

Hi Peggy -

It's actually a 2-step process. First you need to use Excel's File> Save As
command & choose Comma Separated Values (.csv) from the Format: list. [You
could also use Tab Delimited Text (.txt), but a .csv is the preferred
choice.]

Then in Entourage use File> Import, select "Contacts or messages from a text
file" on the first Import step & follow the instructions as you go. E'rage
Help also has pretty good instructions on the topic "Import Information Into
Entourage".
