Hi Annie -
Sorry you're having a problem, but this is exactly why it's highly
recommended that you *not* save files to or open files from a USB stick.
Contrary to how they're advertised they are *not* drives & the practice can
cause file damage & corruption. That's what it sounds like here.
You may still be able to recover the file, but copy it to your HD first.
Then - from Excel - use File> Open & see if you can open the file that way
without incident. If you still have a problem...
The header of your message suggests that you got here from the MS web portal
which is notoriously hard to navigate & you wound up in a Mac Excel group. I
think you're using some version of PC Excel on a system running some version
of Windows. If that's the case you can access the appropriate PC Excel group
from this link for more assistance:

Just make sure to include all pertinent information if you do.
