Excel - creating & printing forms

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

I am using "Excel for Mac" on a MAC mini, having recently switched over from PC. I have a large number of files created with the Works data base and, while I am fairly familiar with PC, I am new to the excel spread sheet.

I wish to display and print my spreadsheet in the "Form" command, but am having difficulty finding any resource material explaining the basics of this procedure. I assume this to be a very basic step to the seasoned excel user, however, there seems to be very little written on this.

I'm hoping someone can help me over this hump, or refer me to some good online material that explains the basics of setting this up.

Thanks.

I have no idea what the "form" command is. Have you looked at your worksheet
in the page layout view? If you explain in more detail what you have and
what you want we may be able to provide more help.

If you're referring to the Form command in the Data Menu I'm afraid you have
a misinterpretation of its purpose:-)

It is used for adding records to a list in a sheet as well as other options
for managing such a list. Further, it is only active if you have a list
constructed & you have a cell selected within the range occupied by the
list. Otherwise the command is unavailable.

There is no specific facility for designing or printing Forms - that's a
matter of personal creativity:-), so if this isn't what you're looking for
you'll need to provide a much more accurate & specific description.

Moreover, if the files were created in MS Works for Windows I don't believe
you'll be able to open them in Mac Excel. I'm not certain, but I believe
you'll probably have to open them in a PC version & save the data in a
compatible spreadsheet format.
