I purchased a new macbook pro in Feb and MacOffice and am finding that EXCEL
is freezing up my computer causing me to have to re-boot it to re-gain
control.  It does not appear related to the EXCEL file size or complexity,
but it just randomly locks up.  I have 2 gb RAM so that is not the issue and
none of my other programs are causing this problem.

Do you have an Nvidia Geoforce video card? If so, there is and OS X driver
bug that affects machines with certain models of those video cards. The
problem actually affects many other applications and has been widely
reported on various forums. If that's the problem you're seeing, we have
reported it to Apple and have let them know how important it is that they
find and release a fix as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Pat
