How to create a column chart for a set of data, then create a line chart for a different set but within the column chart. Using the same time frame. An example would be stock trading volume is column and stock price would be the line.

IT's not easy, at least in OfficeX or 2004.  About the most direct way I
found is to load both sets of data into one of the existing 'combination
charts' via the chart wizard.  Then click on one of the data lines, or
bars, in the chart and go to Chart Type and select the type of chart you
want for that data set.   Ditto for the other if you want to change both.

Once you have it the way you like,  be sure to save it as a Custom Chart
Type so you don't have to recreate it.

I hope :-) other experts have a faster or easier way to do this.
