I am pretty much a novice using Excel, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. When I type a lot of text in to a cell, it is all there. Then I save it, close it, and when I reopen the file, a lot of the text is missing, like it's being cut off. Help. Where's it going? Do I need to format each cell or do they resize to fit the the text?

While a cell can contain up to 32767 characters, XL can only display or
print the first 1024 characters. You should still be able to see the
rest of the text in the formula bar.

You can get around this limit if you put a manual carriage return
(CMD-OPTION-RETURN) character every 1024 (or fewer) characters.
