Cell Protection

How do I Unprotect data-entry cells in an otherwise protected worksheet?
The normal method of unprotecting cells via Format is not working. In this instance the Cells option is grayed out.

Look in Tools-Protection to unprotect the worksheet. Than the cells can be
protected/unprotected individually.
