I have no idea what you should do, you have to make that decision. Excel
2004 and 2008 will both run fine on the same machine. So, yes, you can use
Excel 2004 with the rest of Office 2008, including Excel 2008.
I think Control-U is what you want. Look in Help for keyboard shortcuts for
more.

If you need to use items from the PC world in which you need Items such
a Solver, or VBA, or Macros written in VBA. Then a resounding YES!!!.
You u would be far better off with Office2004. If you can buy a new copy
of 2004. Do so!
The only real dis advantage now would be being able to save docx., xlsx.
and pptx files.
It doesn't hurt to have both loaded on the same hard drive. the only
thing because of a bug that people are touting as feature. You will have
to open and Doc, xls, ppt files by opening the application first, then
locate the file and open. Or go to open file from find and choose open
with and choose word2004,Excel2004, or PowerPoint2004 to open the
document. (after you click once to highlight desired file).
Double-Clicking is out. trying to set in get info to open with a
specified application will not work for office files if Office2008 is
loaded on the hard drive.

My only reply is that Mac sucks, period. I'll never buy another one.
