Any way to make a cell in a sheet the check box like I see in templates?

Don't know what you're seeing in which templates, much less what version
of XL...

For versions prior to XL08, there are ways using VBA and event macros -
is that something you're interested in? If so, give more detail on wat
you're looking to do...
