Not al typed characteres appear in the cell

Hello, sorry for my poor english...
I use Office Excel 2004 on a iMac 20' (alluminium) whit Leopard and,
random, when i insert some text (number/letters) in a Excel cell
typing by keyboard the text dont appear (also in the formula bar)..
Sometime returning in the cell and retyping the data the cell is
filled.
Any suggestion?

P.S.. This problem appear after installing the Leopard MacOSX

I can't reproduce this, and, of course, problems that sometimes happen
and sometimes don't are usually the hardest to figure out.

Are you sure that, when you can't enter data in XL, that XL is the
active application (i.e., the name next to the apple in the main menu is
"Excel")? Perhaps the Finder or another application is accidently
getting activated, so that XL doesn't see your keyboard entry.
